Since the renovation in 2006, Camas has been able to offer self catering, using the slightly more insulated staff rooms for accommodation (hence why we only suggest up to 12, the main dorms are very very chilly!), with plentiful hot water*, candlelight and the big log burner in the common room, Camas is the perfect place to enjoy the festive season. Come and enjoy the simple life, the beauty and peace that Camas has to offer, last winter we had visits from deer on the track and seals in the bay and it was truely magical.

*plentiful hot water is dependent on the amount of wind generated, but traditionally winter provides some windier days and the lack of people here means the battery isn’t getting used as much, so historically hot water hasn’t been scarce during the winter months.
